I had the honour of helping two other students, Emily and Trung, with their film "Yep, This is Happening," turning their actors into zombies and survivors of the zombie apocalypse with the help of other makeup artists. The process involved applying fake blood, liquid latex, rigid collodion and brown and red eye shadow to the actors to create a rough look with lots of wounds, and fake blood to the white shirts of the actors playing the zombies in order to make it look as though they had been eating people.
